LOOKING AHEAD

As we prepare for what lies ahead, the Small Groups Ministry is looking to establish a church-wide Bible Study for all groups. We are planning to study the 1st Epistle of John together,  moving in tandem and unity. The study will start the week of September 11th. 

Small groups is a community of close friends from the local church who study the Bible. It is a place where you can openly share your experiences, pray for each other, discuss interesting and relevant topics, ask questions, and find needed answer in the Word of God.
You are meant to be a part of a community of believers, where you can grow, be challenged, and disciple others.

Mark’s gospel portrays Jesus as constantly on the move. The forward motion in Mark’s writing keeps the knowledgeable reader’s mind continually looking ahead to the cross and the resurrection. Thirty-nine times Mark used the word immediately, giving a sense that Jesus’s time on earth was short and that there was much to accomplish in His few years of ministry. (Insight.org, 2022)
